Bryan Fischer, described by the New York Times as a "talk-radio natural," was the longtime host (2009-2021) of the "Focal Point" radio program on the American Family Radio Network, where he established a substantial podcast following.

Before that, from 2005-2009, he was the Founder and Director of the Idaho Values Alliance, where he served as the co-author of Idaho’s marriage amendment - which is still, despite the Supreme Court - in the Idaho State Constitution.

Prior to that, from 1993-2005, Bryan served as the Founding Pastor of Community Church of the Valley in Boise, Idaho. During this time he also served as the chaplain of the Idaho State Senate and as a columnist for the Idaho Statesman.

From 1980-1993, he served as the Founder and Director of the Cole Center for Biblical Studies, the in-house seminary of Cole Community Church in Boise. 

Bryan is a graduate of Stanford University (Philosophy) and Dallas Theological Seminary (emphasis on the biblical languages of Hebrew and Greek). He has been married to his bride, Debbie, since 1976, and they have two grown children. They now live in the Pacific Northwest.

He is also the author of “The Boy To Man Book” (for fathers of 12-year-old sons) and “Urban Legends of the Constitution: Why Everything You’ve Heard about the Constitution is Wrong.” 

He has been featured on media outlets such as Fox News, ABC, CBS News, NBC, CNN, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the BBC, Russia Today television, and the Associated Press, and has been a frequent guest on talk radio to discuss cultural and religious issues. He has been profiled in publications such as the New York Times, Newsweek, the New Yorker, and BuzzFeed, as well as Channel 4 in the UK, and on Australian TV and Swiss TV.
