Pray the Scriptures, Numbers 25-26

Passage: Numbers 25-26

Verse: “Phinehas the son of Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, has turned back my wrath from the people of Israel, in that he was jealous with my jealousy among them, so that I did not consume the people of Israel in my jealousy. 12 Therefore say, ‘Behold, I give to him my covenant of peace, 13 and it shall be to him and to his descendants after him the covenant of a perpetual priesthood…” ~ Numbers 25:11-13

Prayer:

Lord God,

I pray today for me and for ______________________. I ask especially that we will be protected from the wiles of Satan in matters of sexuality, that we may not be deceived into practicing any kind of sexual immorality. For those among us who are single, I ask that you cause a spirit of sexual purity to rest on them and quicken them. For those of us who are married, I ask that you release a spirit of faithfulness into each marriage, and I ask you to deepen the intimacy between every husband and wife in body, soul, and spirit.
