Passage: Mark 9:1-29

Verse: And he said to them, “Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God after it has come with power.” ~ Mark 9:1

Prayer:

Lord Jesus,

We read here of your transfiguration before the eyes of your disciples, and how you delivered a young boy from an evil spirit. I ask today that you will reveal yourself to me and ______________________ as you revealed yourself to the eyes of Peter, James, and John. I humbly ask you to grant us the privilege of seeing the dazzling radiance of your presence and power with the eyes of our spirit, even if others of your followers do not. I pray that you will confirm in our hearts that you are the Son of God, the one your Father commanded us to hear and obey.
